Hardcore gothic lolita nails!

Today I present you my first 2014 manicure :D I wanted to incorporate a black french into my design as there's been a long time since I last wore one. Then I thought I should make it more girly and interesting by adding some pink stuff. But then I wanted it to have a punk feeling and I added some studs. Thus, this manicure was born! :))

Azi iti prezint prima mea manichiura din 2014 :D Am vrut sa incorporez un french negru in design pentru ca a trecut multa vreme de cand am purtat unul. Apoi m-am gandit sa-l fac mai de fete si interesant adaugand chestii roz. Dar apoi am vrut sa aiba un aer mai punk si i-am adaugat niste tinte. Astfel incat, s-a nascut aceasta manichiura! :))

I did my black french using acrylic paint. Polish wears better though. When you conceive rhinestones and studs design, I suggest applying some cuticle oil to your nail and experiment with different placements (the oil will hold stuff in place) until you're happy with the design. Also, count how many beads you need and get them out of their container to come in handy. Stick the rhinestones and 3-D pieces on with a thicker topcoat and to make sure they will hold, to press them really well until they are stuck.

Mi-am facut french-ul negru cu vopsea acrilica. Oja va rezista mai bine totusi. Cand concepi design-uri cu pietricele si tinte, sugerez sa aplici niste ulei de cuticule pe unghie si sa experimentezi cu diferite pozitii (uleiul va tine chestiile pe loc) pana cand esti multumita de design. De asemenea, numara cate bilute ai nevoie si scoate-le din recipientul lor ca sa le ai la indemana. Lipeste pietricelele si piesele 3-D cu un topcoat mai gros si ca sa fii sigura ca vor tine, sa le apesi bine pana cand s-au lipit.


These are the materials I used (besides base and top coat):

- sparse iridescent glitter polish
- black acrylic paint (not shown in photos)
- 1.5 mm silver studs
- 1.5, 2 and 3mm rhinestones (pink, fuchsia, lilac and silver)
- pearl hearts
-big 3-D pink roses

I got most of these on Ebay.

Acestea sunt materialele pe care le-am folosit (in afara de baza si topcoat):

- oja cu glitter iridescent imprastiat
- vopsea acrilica neagra (nu apare in poza)
- tinte argintii de 1.5 mm
- pietricele de 1.5, 2 si 3mm (roz, fuchsia, lila si argintii)
- inimioare din perle
- trandafiri 3-D mari roz

Aproape toate acestea au fost luate de pe Ebay.

 

I filed down my nails and they are as short as they were before Christmas :P

Mi-am pilit unghiile si acum sunt la fel de scurte ca inainte de Craciun :P

Hope you like this design as much as I do! I think next week I'm going to try acrylic nails again, I hope this time they will come out well, can't wait!

Sper ca iti place acest design la fel de mult ca mie! Cred ca saptamana viitoare voi incerca iar unghii din acryl, sper ca de aceasta data o sa iasa bine, abia astept!
